Who are the Friends of Bushfield?

Every Parent and carer who has a child at the school is considered a member of the ‘Friends'.

Some people choose to get more involved with the committee and its fund raising events, but one of the most important things you can do as a ‘Friend' and a parent is to support as many events as possible by coming along and enjoying yourself.

What are our Aims?

• Supporting the children

• Fostering a sense of community

• Encouraging parents to be part of the school

What do we do?

The Friends of Bushfield run many ‘fun' events ranging from Discos for the children to things the whole family can enjoy. E.g. Quiz Nights and the Summer Fayre. All of these events provide valuable extra income for the school. This money is spent buying additional equipment and resources for the school, or enhancing the school experience in other ways.

Would you like to be more involved?

We all lead busy lives but the more people join in, the less there is for individuals to do.

We welcome people who want to join the committee or help out regularly, but if you can only help out for a little as an hour at one event, we'd still love to hear from you.
